Chad Foret was selected Runner-up in the 2017 William Faulkner – William Wisdom Creative Writing Competition, Poetry Category, by poet Carolyn Hembree. He is a PhD candidate in Poetry at the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, where he assists in the publication of the Robert Frost Review and teaches Composition. Recent work has appeared or is forthcoming in Rabbit Catastrophe, The Journal, The Midwest Quarterly, and elsewhere. He was selected as a finalist for the 2017 Tennessee Williams Poetry Award and the 2017 Real Good Poem Prize.
