Terri S. Shrum (previously published as Terri Shrum Stoor), a founding member of the Peauxdunque Writers Alliance, is a winner of the William Faulkner-William Wisdom gold medal for the short story. Her work has appeared or is upcoming in publications including The Missouri Review, Quarterly West, The Frank Martin Review, The Double Dealer, and New Orleans by New Orleans, a book of essays about the Crescent City. Terri’s essay, Bird Dog, won the 2012 Writers@Work Fellowship for non-fiction. From 2012 to present, Terri served on the faculty of the Words and Music literary conference, and has presented new short fiction each year. In 2014 she was chosen to attend the Sewanee Writers Conference, and was selected for the inaugural Oxford American Summit for Ambitious Writers in 2011. A former actor and comedian, she lives on the shirttails of New Orleans in the tiny community of Arabi, where she is working on a collection of short stories, a novel, and planning her next adventure.
