Errol Baron, Renaissance Man
Errol Barron is founding partner of Errol Barron/Michael Toups Architects, a firm that has received  over 35 design awards. He taught design and drawing at Tulane University in New Orlean for over 40 years. He is a Fellow in the American Institute of Architecture and was the recipient in 1994 of the Gabriel Prize to study and draw in France. Since 1998 he has exhibited his drawings and paintings in galleries in the Southeast region and was the subject of a traveling exhibition that went to museums in Louisiana, Tennessee, California and Alabama. In 2012 he was awarded the Gold Medal of the Louisiana Architects Association of the American Institute of Architecture in recognition of his “significant and enduring contribution to the advancement of architecture and his inspiring influence on the architects of Louisiana.

And, complimenting his great love of the visual arts is his long time enthusiasm for music. He plays the flute in amateur ensembles and in 2004 released a CD with the pianist Sakiko Ohashi entitled
