About the Author
Nicholas Mainieri is the author of The Infinite, which is a September, 2016 Release from Harper Perennial. Set in both New Orleans and northeastern Mexico, this debut novel follows the desperate lives of two teenagers across a vivid and violent landscape, becoming a story about the borders that divide us—and the truths that unite us. Mainieri’s short fiction has appeared in the Southern Review, the Southern Humanities Review, and Salamander, among other literary magazines. He holds an MFA from the University of New Orleans, and currently he teaches writing and literature at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, LA. He lives in New Orleans with his wife and son.
